Rox's Intern Diary: My Chocolate Experience

It’s been 8 weeks since I started as an intern for Chocolate Clothing, and it’s been one of my life’s greatest learning experience so far. I was given the chance to do a host of activities all revolving around fashion! I did store VMD for Mother’s Day in Trinoma. I also did merchandising a week after that. We just finished our Summer Pop-Up shop which was held at Acacia Hotel in Alabang last May 12 and 13. The Pop Up Shop is an annual event for Chocolate where we think of a cool theme to feature the brand’s latest collections. Right now, we are cooking up something lovely for the mommies out there and their little ones. It’s going to be fun and cheezy! *exciting* I can’t wait to see how our little project would turn out!

I’m definitely having a blast for my internship! I have the coolest and nicest bosses and colleagues in Chocolate Clothing. It’s impressive how our office is so much fun, without losing its professionalism. Who wouldn’t want to work in that kind of environment? For me, Chocolate has proven that if you love what you do, it will never feel like work to you. Aside from all the fun I’ve been having, I’m also very, very happy with everything I’ve been learning. Before I joined Chocolate, I was unsure of the marketing side of the business. But now, with my internship, I feel like a lot of doors have opened up for me. In such a short time, I have learned so much about the marketing and promotion side of fashion. I will forever be grateful to Chocolate for all the exposure and the learnings this summer. Chocolate Clothing helped me enjoy every single task that I do for fashion - from styling and merchandising to marketing and promoting. I’m looking forward to discover more in the world that I choose to live in: FASHION!

Style Tips: Getting Down With A Button Down
